And once again I have to remind you of that glorious title that is forever marred by the fact that Chumpson cheated. The following year they were put on probation because of recruiting violations that took place. That's a real title to crow about. Win one the honest way.

Every team cheats, a title is a title. 1990 UNLV hoops is the best damn team money can buy and it still doesnt diminish their accomplishments.

That's not that much of a stretch. They were 5-1 in their last 6 games with the last two national champs. That one loss, Lofton didn't play. With the other players they brought in and the ones that Pearl has recruited and got they can compete with big time programs. They're not to that level, but they can come up and beat any of them at any time and if Lofton is on, they can make it look easy. Unfortunately, Lofton hasn't been on much this year. What Bob said wasn't telling anyone how great UT basketball is, imo it was more of a statement of fact evidenced over the last couple of years. UT basketball is the equivalent of VT football, neither one has accomplished a damn thing, but they pack their venue and pull for their team. The one difference, UT basketball schedules don't look like something an NAIA team would have. Note, OSU, Kansas, Gonzaga, Texas.

Can you prove that every team cheats? Until you do it's only an assumption. It was apparently proven that Chumpson did, they got probation for it.

Well, I know that VT teaches basic reading fundamentals to you hokies... Bob made a very simple comment on the UT bb team...wasn't demeaning to anyone unless they carry a big hokie chip on their shoulder. Have you ever thought that the reason most of us have a problem with VT is their narrow-minded, arrogant concepts of their teams? You guys will always be a mid-grade athletic program. Accept it and move on. It's not difficult. Here are the facts... UT has a superior athletic program, they're in a superior conference, and when FSU, Miami get back on track, VT will wallow at the bottom. Butch Davis will smack VT in the mouth next year.
It's your brazeness and arrogance that turn folks on this forum against VT. I hope they never win nothing, and that's all because of a few arrogant kids like you.
